Day 1 to 5: Wildlife Safari Camp, South Luangwa National Park
Wildlife Safari Camp is a safari-camp on the banks of the Luangwa River in Zambia. This camp provides guests with an affordable front-row seat to one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa, South Luangwa National Park. Since 1992 Wildlife Camp has been one of the most famous and popular camps in the Luangwa Valley, providing our guests with spectacular and authentic experiences in the African bush. Wildlife Safari Camp has 9 en-suite chalets, five of which are situated in a quiet corner of the camp, overlooking a lagoon area and surrounded by huge shady trees while the other four are located in the centre of our camp, conveniently close to our reception area, main bar and restaurant. These four chalets each offer unique views over the Luangwa River. The Camp also has En-suite Safari Tents which are ideal for budget guests who cannot afford the slightly higher rates for the Chalets.
Day 5 to 8: Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge in Livingstone
Fun and lively, the Victoria Falls Waterfront is the perfect place to stay when you are looking for centrally located, yet affordable Livingstone accommodation. The Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge has long been known as the heart of Livingstone, Victoria Falls Zambia. Only four kilometres from the area’s main attraction, the Victoria Falls, the resort is ideally positioned to take advantage of the many activities that are on offer in the area. The Waterfront resort offers great facilities including a restaurant and bar where many sundowners have been enjoyed from the deck whilst overlooking the Zambezi River and Siloka Island. Sundowners on the Zambezi River are an essential start to a holiday in Victoria Falls. Each day the HMV Makumbi, the party boat of note, departs from the Waterfront jetty for a sunset cruise up the Zambezi, which includes all drinks and snacks, returning as night falls.
Day 8 to 10: Amadeus Gardens Lodge, Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe

Amadeus offers clean and clutter free accommodation in eleven rooms all of which are tastefully decorated and furnished with local teak furniture. All beds are fitted with firm therapeutic mattresses. There are 9 twins bedded and 2 double bedded rooms. All rooms offer solar heated en-suite hot and cold shower, a ceiling fan and an electronic safe.
Day 10 to 13: Sable Sand Lodge, Hwange National Park – Zimbabwe
This ‘off the grid’ eco-friendly safari lodge is owner and family managed and has steadily established a great reputation for their personalised and bespoke experience complete with a passionate team, homely food and exceptional elephant encounters. Sable Sands Lodge overlooks the ancient riverbed of the famous “Dete Vlei” and is located within a private Forestry Concession on the outskirts of the unfenced and world-famous Hwange National Park. Conveniently located 8km from the Hwange National Park and 200km from Victoria Falls, Sable Sands offers easy access to these African gems. Comprising of sixteen spacious and open-plan thatched ‘rondavels’, simply yet elegantly furnished to create a blend of traditional culture, nature and modern convenience, this African Forest “home-away-from-home” welcomes guests to an exquisite safari setting in unspoilt surroundings. The main area holds the restaurant, lounge, library and bar with full views of the ‘Dete Vlei’ and the Sable Sands solar pumped “wildlife water- hole”. In the evenings, guests can either enjoy a delicious three course dinner inside the main dining area or a cosy dinner under a blanket of the starry African night sky while the flames of the nightly camp-fire flicker in the wind. Sable Sands harvests dead wood for cooking and heating up the traditional wood boilers. The lodge operates on generator power in the evenings and guests can charge their gadgets, each room has solar lamps for later in the night once the generator is switched off to allow guests to enjoy the natural sounds of the African wilderness.
