4-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Safari – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport

Meet and greet at Kigali International Airport by Crystal representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. After a short transfer to your hotel you will be briefed about you safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed this day. Get to know Kigali by visiting some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast go for a city tour including the genocide Centre then drive north through the winding roads and terraced hills to the Cyanika Boarder and then on to Bwindi.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla trekking within Bwindi Impenetrable NP, Track Mountain Gorillas and other primates you will enjoy gorilla tracking within Bwindi. Following breakfast, go for the morning briefing just before searching the forest on this highlight of Gorilla trekking that may take the whole day. You will trek the gorillas through the sloped covered with thick vegetation in the company of a safari guide plus trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can at times be tough and lengthy, however when you finally see the glorious silverback, you will forget all discomforts. On finding the gorillas you will be guided to stay within a 6 meters’’ distance from the gorillas, you will observe them for an hour as you stare into their big brown eyes Gorilla trekking activity is unpredictable. It is challenging to foresee the number of hours you will track. The gorilla outing may take anything between 2 and 8 hours. Anticipate walking lengthy distances in steep muddy terrain, at times with rain overhead, prior to meeting the gorillas. You will be required to be in physical condition to track. Day 4: Departure

Depending on your flight time you can transfer to Mughahinga National Park where you can either go golden Monkey trekking or take the Batwa (pygmies) trail where you will indulge in the local culture of the Batwa people (these activities require and supplement to be paid).
